A central courtyard gives northern light penetration into the living space, adding depth and dimension throughout the home.

Three outdoor areas from small to large occupy this Albert park home, with its largest being an outdoor extension of the rumpus room. Skies opens up figuratively and literally with this stunning outdoor space that is tucked inconspicuously behind the front of the home, yet manages to offer so much to its inhabitants.  Dan Webster Architecture explain “opening the rumpus room out to the front means that the deck area is underneath the heritage sightline and will never be built out. This means that it’ll always be able to maintain its northern light”.

White tiled bathroom walls combined with dark coloured cabinetry ties harmoniously with the overall atmosphere of the home proving that basics are best. A small square of green outdoor space next to the kitchen brings us back to nature, accentuating the minimalist choices of smooth marble, pendant lighting and light timber finishes for design and decoration.
