OOAA Arquitectura configured the home with a shared ‘social’ space separate from the master bedroom and from the children’s bedrooms. Close to the children’s bedrooms you’ll also find a playroom, connected to the formal living and dining zone with a large timber pivoting door. The OOAA Arquitectura design team deliberately avoided corridors in the home and prioritised wood as the central material, in a bid to offset the cold climate.
The white oak flooring is mirrored in the custom made furniture, within the library cabinetry, kitchen, wine room and the enviable master suite’s walk in wardrobe. The charcoal-coloured pine wooden doors offer contrast to the light timber.
