Bruce Rowe draws on his experience as an architect and his passion for producing functional yet beautiful ceramic products for all of his design for Anchor Ceramics. Founded in 2012, Anchor Ceramics has been focused on producing a collection that enhance’s daily life while adding to the quality and the aesthetic integrity of the spaces in which we all live.

Showing a deep respect for the tradition of craftsmanship, Rowe’s designs rely on handmade methods and the timeless processes that have been passed on for generations. Using models and design drawings for initial design concepts, to prototyping and testing and then to the final piece, Rowe consults with master craftspeople for their specific  skills from the manufacturing to the materials and the ceramics process to produce a range that is result of a truly collaborative process.

As an architect at Melbourne based MAKE Architecture, Rowe has become the ultimate combination of both designer and maker.
