Founding director and designer of Articolo, Nicci Green, is not only one of our most favourite people on the earth, she is also the creative visionary behind one of our most favourite lighting ranges today.
In 2004, driven by a passion for producing meticulous, accessible design, Nicci started the ‘perfectly imperfect’ leading glassware brand Bribe International, stocking stores worldwide with beautiful mouth-blown glassware creations.
In recent years Nicci has moved into the world of architectural lighting in establishing Articolo. Working closely with designers to produce bespoke pieces for beautiful homes and award winning commercial projects, Nicci oversees all areas of design and manufacturing right here in Melbourne and has fast become our number one go to source for inside information on where to unearth the country’s leading artisans and craftsman.
Having initially honed her well developed, sophisticated style as both editor and stylist of Australian Vogue Entertaining and Travel magazine, over the years Nicci has worked in product development and as creative director for some of Australia’s leading design and lifestyle brands. Today Articolo is well on the way to becoming one of Australia’s leading bespoke lighting design company’s with overseas interest now starting to flood in. Having featured the very first design for Articolo in Issue #1 of Est Magazine, don’t say we didn’t tell you!
