Tucked away in a small cul de sac just metres from the beach, we escape to a luxurious retreat in the heart of Byron Bay.

The Cabin is a heavenly hilltop abode set high among the treetops, lovingly designed by Taliah Lowry of Byron Beach Abodes. Located in Byron Bay’s ‘Golden Grid’, it’s only minutes away from the iconic Captain Cook Lookout, Tallows Beach and the Cape Byron Lighthouse walking track.

Ideal for a couple or small family, The Cabin offers an idyllic beach holiday experience, whatever the occasion.

A French Oblica fireplace takes centre stage in the living space.

Surrounded entirely by greenery, every window in The Cabin shares a view of the Australian bush. Owner and designer Taliah Lowry had the vision to create a cosy cabin that embraced the bush surrounds, leaning towards a stylish moutainous escape.

Comprising of bespoke pieces and a muted colour palette, The Cabin showcases limestone tiles by Eco Outdoor throughout, married with an Armadillo rug to keep you warm in the cooler months. A custom made velvet sofa takes centre stage in the living room, which is adorned in natural light.

The limewashed staircase is the spine of the three-storey retreat, while a soft white interior paint designed exclusively by Porter’s Paints is consistent throughout, heavily contrasted with custom-made black steel-framed glass windows

The living space features a custom sofa and matching ottoman in a plush velvet upholstery.

The Cabin sleeps four guests, with two ensuites and the opportunity to shower outdoors. Fully equipped with the latest Miele appliances, the kitchen utilises dark American oak cabinetry and a mirrored splashback. A large custom dining table completes the dining space, pared with Thonet’s iconic No. B9 Le Corbusier Chairs.

The accommodation seamlessly integrates indoor-outdoor living, where multiple rooms open onto the tree-lined horizon-edge pool and decking area. Bringing out the best of the Byron Bay atmosphere inside and out, The Cabin makes for the perfect holiday retreat, any time of the year.
