Named after a pair of number plates from an 1981 peppermint green car, it is fair to say the company car came before the company in the case of DAN300. Founder and owner Dani Rosen cut her teeth in the world of design and retail after a seemingly exhaustive career as a buyer, brand manager, marketing strategist, stylist, PR manager on top of several years spent working in retail and product design.
On a dare to register her number plates as a business name, Dani went on start her business right on her bedroom floor making handmade cards. The DAN300 paneled cushion soon followed in 2001 and the product range grew to include hair and button accessories, ladies fashion, handbags, belts and kids accessories.
After working on designs for various brands such as Bluebird and Honey, and The Style Tree Studio, Dani has since gone on to enter the world of textile design with a new range of geometric patterns in sorbet colours ripe for any setting. We love the colour palette of the patterned purses and bold scatter cushions either as an accessory in a white scandi style room or with dark moody charcoal coloured spaces.
With a gradual evolution of her product range – we can’t wait to see what she comes up with next. But one thing is for sure… the future is bound to be bright!
