Villa Copenhagen unveils its new Residential Suite, designed by Danish furniture and accessories brand Ferm Living.
Located in the heart of Copenhagen’s Meatpacking District, Villa Copenhagen by London-based firm Universal Design Studio is equal parts prestigious and environmentally conscious. The 390-room hotel is housed within the historic former Central Post Head Office building, where original architectural details are celebrated through a contemporary Scandinavian design sensibility.

Ferm Living pieces in the central living room include the Rico sofa, Mineral dining table and Rico dining chair against a wall of assorted prints.

The king beds are layered with Ferm Living tufted New Zealand wool cushions and the hemstitched Daze bedspread. Inspired by Korea’s traditional pojagi patchwork technique, the bespoke cotton-linen curtains reveal a glimpse of the iconic Tivoli Gardens adjacent to the hotel.
The original mahogany timber staircase leads you into the new Residential Suite on the first floor; a two-bedroom suite with a central living room described by Ferm Living as a ‘home away from home’. Inside, earthen tones and textures have an instantly warming effect, from the eclectic ceramics lining the window sills to the generously-decorated king beds.
Travellers can immerse themselves in authentic Danish design throughout their stay at the Residential Suite, whether by sinking into the Rico sofa, cosying up among the tufted New Zealand wool cushions or borrowing the Yard Picnic tote during the day while exploring the city. No detail has been overlooked by both Villa Copenhagen and Ferm Living, ensuring an authentic design stay in the UNESCO-UIA World Capital of Architecture.
The Residential Suite is the second design collaboration between Villa Copenhagen and an iconic Danish brand, following the opening of the Universal Penthouse Suite by &Tradition in 2022.

The study nook features the Feve desk and Arum table lamp.

The Rotben aluminium side table by Norwegian artist Anna Maria Øfstedal Eng incorporates an artistic and sculptural impression into the suite.

The suite is accessible through both the old and new parts of the hotel.
