Design Stays | Copenhagen

We’ve hand-picked five quaint holiday pads in the Danish capital city Copenhagen, for your next Nordic adventure.

While Copenhagen is renowned for its first-class accommodation, we’re focusing our attention on homestays that let you feel like a local, while immersing yourself in the epicentre of design.

We’ve narrowed down our favourite design stays around the city – from a heritage mansion to a four-bedroom family home; all with the Danish stamp of approval.

Holstein Mansion

Situated in the Latin Quarter in the centre of Copenhagen, this charming home is located on the first floor of the Holstein Mansion. Built in 1683 for the royal family, the Holstein Mansion showcases high ceilings and a Nordic-style kitchen with its own private backyard; a lucky find in the city centre.

Strøget Home

Showcasing views of Strøget, Copenhagen’s busiest pedestrian shopping strip, this three bedroom apartment couldn’t be more central to the action. Modern bathrooms, black steel framed internal windows and a shared rooftop garden offer the opportunity to feel like you’re living as a local does.

Indre By Home

Only minutes away from the Amalienborg Palace, home of the Danish royal family, the 190m2 space is a rarity considering its size in such a central location. With easy access to Kongens Nytorv, Magasin du Nord, Strøget, and Nyhavn, the light-filled home sleeps ten with ample space to cook.

Indre By Terrace

With the National Museum, Christiansborg Palace and Tivoli Gardens all close by, the Indre By Terrace is perfect for those who want to explore all of Copenhagen’s quintessential attractions. Located on the third floor of a traditional Danish terrace, the home features sloped ceilings and artwork by local artist, Augusta Atla von Fogh.

Østerbro Pad

Located north of the city centre in the residential district, this four bedroom home is optimal for a family holiday. Within walking distance to playgrounds, bike rentals, restaurants and supermarkets, Østerbro is known for its family-oriented community and exclusive danish design stores.
