The Entertainer’s Kitchen
When asked what he insists on in every kitchen, Piet Boon says it’s kitchen functionality for the user. “When undertaking a new kitchen project, we not only look at where the kitchen is located in the home but consider the family composition of who lives there and the different entry points into the kitchen,” Piet explains.
This considered approach can be seen in Studio Piet Boon’s Amsterdam Residence – a converted 20th-century industrial building home to an art-collecting client with love for entertaining. The eccentric home features the EDGE Kitchen, positioned perfectly under a large skylight and grand chandelier in the elevated kitchen space.
