Because it’s the week of Valentine – we thought it only fitting that we explore the city of love. Paris. It’s what dreams are made of. To start the week we wanted to focus on the work of a truly global interior designer, architect and furniture designer, India Mahdavi. Much sought after for her irreverent designs and exotic yet restrained aesthetic, Mahdavi’s work takes her from Morocco to Sydney, to Mexico then London, proving that true style transcends cultures, lifestyles and geographical locations.
Having lived a nomadic life, Mahdavi’s work is influenced by the cultures she has been exposed to and embraced over the years. Feminine, flirty, playful and chic, this Persian born, Paris based designer brings it all to the table and then some. The Voids Bracelet designed for JEM is definitely on our wish list for the 14th of Feb – if anyone was to inquire?
