‘GIANT’ – A new body of work from award-winning, multi-disciplinary designer and artist Evi O offers her audience visual and emotional escapism; investigating light and dark sides of big matters, affording her an emotional resonance with her audience.
When it comes to creativity, colour and shape, Evi O draws from her own design practise that exposes her to 3D forms and spatial design, bringing clarity to her work.
Her visual take on creatures and the scenes that she relays are symbolic of people, places and scenes that have left their mark, with observations on natural and man-made monoliths that help identify our place in the universe. Scenes and characters are symbolised through recurring abstract forms of objects, buildings, animals and nature.
