It’s fair to say that French-born Felix Forest’s star is on the rise, having secured his position as a sought-after editorial photographer here in Australia.
Based in Sydney when he is not back in Paris for work and seeing family, travel remains a key inspiration for this seasoned photographer. Splitting his time between two hemispheres has allowed Forest to develop his eye in mastering natural light, texture and proportion. His amazing travel shots that expose his eye for subtlety in colour and candour are now available for sale through Felix and at MCM House.
After a stint studying black and white film photography, followed by working in a broad range of fields that included assisting photographers in both fashion and still life, Forest has settled into the world of interiors and architecture. The photographer cites his inquisitive nature and interest in music, contemporary and street art, fashion and video, as his main influences in the development of his own unique style.
