This grand Victorian terrace in Melbourne’s South Yarra has recently undergone a ‘Stage One’ makeover by designer Fiona Lynch. What once felt like a small living area has now been transformed into an ethereal, lounging space to kick back and relax in.
Sitting opposite the kitchen in a somewhat awkward arrangement, Fiona and her team have completely redefined what was a poky living area by introducing custom designed cabinetry, new furniture and sheer curtains to transform the entire room. In softening the modernist renovation of this old Victorian terrace, the living area now beckons the home owners to lounge away the hours. All that is left now is to stay tuned for ‘Stage Two’!
On just another little note we are thrilled to announce that as one of Melbourne’s most celebrated interior designers, Fiona Lynch will be joining the Est team each month to share her insights into the world of interior design and where her inspiration comes from. Our new monthly feature, Design: Deconstructed with Fiona Lynch, allows us to share a behind the scenes peak at what catches the designers eye whether it be an artist, a travel destination, or a particular material. Fiona will open up her sources of inspiration and information allowing us into her world to discover just what makes one of our favourite designers tick.
