If you happen to be heading to Sydney this weekend for a certain trade fair in the eastern suburbs, we suggest you take a sneaky little detour through Woollahra and stop in and see George Byrne’s L.A. series, ‘Local Division’ currently exhibiting at Olsen Irwin.
Having moved to Los Angeles in 2010, Byrne has been busy capturing the urban nuances of his newly adopted home town while simutaneously documenting the sublime in the every day. The result of which is his latest exhibition, Local Division.
