    NAME:
    Georgie Watts

    ORIGIN:
    Sydney, The Window Seat.

Georgie Watts is ‘never not scheming, plotting and planning’ for her next trip with her favourite travel companions, husband Merrick (no doubt always good for a laugh along the way) and two insanely cute kids, Wolfie and Kinga. Armed with a cracking sense of fun and a hunger in her heart to explore more of her own home land, Georgie created ‘The Window Seat‘ to share her tales with others of the Watts family travels both in Australia and abroad. We guarantee Georgie’s highly contagious travel bug will rub off on all those who follow her journey…

“Little Tienda is on my radar for two  reasons; Stripes & ruffles!

    GEORGE WATTS

    LISTEN:

I am listening to The Strokes new EP on repeat. ‘Future Present Past’ is melancholy and nostalgic, I can’t get enough.

    READ:

With a recent health scare in the family, I find myself drawn to books about life and death and understanding mortality. I am currently reading french author Maylis de Kerangal’s ‘Mend the Living’, I also loved Paul Kalanithi’s ‘When Breath Becomes Air’ and Atul Gawande’s ‘Being Mortal’. Thought provoking stuff..

    WEAR:

I am waiting patiently for the latest collection from Little Tienda. It’s on my radar for two  reasons; Stripes! and ruffles! It’s also fair trade so wearing it makes you feel good. And look good! The latest campaign was shot at the Ek Balam archeological site, one to add to the travel bucket list. (El Camino will be available online from late August)

    WATCH:

Stranger Things‘ on Netflix. The styling! The synth music! Winona! It’s all perfect!

    SEE:

I have never been to Uluru. Getting there to see the ‘Field of Light’ installation by Bruce Munro is top of my travel wish list. I have until March.

    EAT:

I am excited by the revamped Dolphin Hotel in Sydney’s Surry Hills. Divided into three seperate spaces (The Wine Room, The Public Bar and The Dining Room) the interiors are playful and fun. The people watching is excellent. With a menu designed by Icebergs Monty Koloudrovic, the food is faultless. It’s like a younger, naughtier Icebergs. Try the burrata, swimmer crab pasta and the perfectly cooked rib eye.
