Within a 15-minute walk of Elysee Palace, Place de la Concorde and Grand Palais, the Hôtel du Ministère in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris certainly packs a colourful punch when compared to the other surrounding hotel accommodation on offer.

The hotel’s Mondrian inspired scheme sees each of the 18 newly added rooms based on one of the three primary hues of blue, red and yellow with art works by David Lynch, Sebastien KJito, KRM, Carmen Perrin and Stephanie Guglielmetti added to the hotels existing art collection throughout.

Interior designer François Champsaur drew on both the original buildings heritage as a former artist and fashion hub while also referencing the nearby Eiffel Tower’s industrial aesthetic in his design of sweeping steel-framed glass windows with views to the city. Cassina and Zanotta furnishings have been used alongside graphic textiles and colour splashed carpets offering a fresh new take when it comes to staying in style in the worlds fashion capital.
