Family-owned furniture brand Tacchini was founded during one of the most prominent periods of Italian design. Often referred to as the “Italian design boom”, the 50s and 60s gave rise to names like Mario Bellini, Gianfranco Frattini and Tobia Scarpa, who today are celebrated as some of the most influential designers in history. All three, among others, collaborated with Tacchini, crafting enduring design classics that continue to be sought-after worldwide.

These pieces are some of Tacchini’s most iconic collaborations with Italian designers, including the Pigreco chair, the first piece Italian architect Tobia Scarpa ever designed (it was his graduation project from the University of Venice in 1959), and the Sesann sofa by Gianfranco Frattini, one of the brand’s most popular pieces to date.
