So part 1 of the 2 part Jac + Jack 2014 campaign has just arrived in stores – and we love that they have added a Jock to the name!
The Jac+ Jack + Jock Sturges Winter 2014 Campaign is a collaboration between the renown photographer and one of our favourite fashion brands (we can’t get enough of their chambray denim shirts, linen mix singlet tops and cashmere sweaters – and yes, we have an addiction) in celebration of their 10th anniversary this year.
Menswear designer and creative director Patrick Blue defers to the art of black and white photography in evoking feelings of nostalgia, while the beachside location and models, Lena Hardt and Jamie Wise who stand alone on what feels like a cold, windy beach front of architect Harry Gesner’s iconic 1957 Cooper Wave House, capture the intimate feeling of the warmth and comfort of luxurious yarns against the skin.
While Sturge’s main body of work seemingly centres upon the notion of natural beauty while emphasising a real connection with his subjects, the photographer works with natural light to create his highly emotive images of what what appears to be the last days of summer.
Here we have added a few of our favourite pieces from the range as seen in stores today…what are you favourite must have peices?
