We are looking forward to seeing what’s in store at this year’s Salone del Mobile when our roving New York based, Australian born photographer Robyn Lea returns from her latest trip to her previously adopted home town of Milan. But for a sneak peak for some of what’s to come we thought we would share this little find with you from the Italian company Kristalia – known for their Nordic tastes and Italian quality.
The Rama chair designed by the Ramos Bassols Studio with its clear-cut, simple and graceful lines and its stackable ability will be on show along with the curiously titled Sharky. The upholstered fabric chair designed by Neuland Industriaedesign get its name from the two “fins” at the rear of the chair (of course?!) And we really are quite partial to the Boiacca cement top table with its wooden legs by LucidiPevere.
Nordic sensibility with Italian craftsmanship clearly equals a winning combination. Lucky for those of us in the southern hemisphere Kristalia is available at Fanuli Furniture in Sydney, Australia.
