The Lightyears showroom in Copenhagen, established in 2005, is a Danish industrial design brand with roots tracing back to the former lighting company, Horn Belysning A/S. After the success of their first location in the buzzy commercial area of Aarhus Harbour, the classically Scandinavian Lightyears has decided to expand and show off their designs with a new Carlsberg City District showroom.
As Scandinavia’s preferred supplier of contemporary lighting, Lightyears keeps top of mind the design and quality conscious consumer. Collections are functional, progressive and timeless – and most importantly, reasonably priced. Working closely with recognized Danish designers such as Knud Holscher, Jørn Utzon, Kasper Salto og Thomas Sigsgaard, Hans Sandgren Jakobsen, Strand & Hvass, Cecilie Manz, Halsskov and Dalsgaard, Morten Voss and Mads Odgaard, Lightyears also works with some of our favourite stylists and photographers, such as Gitte Kjaer and Mikkel Mortensen.
Danish interior designer Sofie Ladefoged has perfectly showcased the brand’s classic Danish designs in the new showroom with the concrete lined space lending itself to the industrial nature of the brand.
