A Greek Island getaway sounds like just what we all need right now wouldn’t you agree? After stumbling across Maison Kamari on the island of Paros in Greece, we thought you might like a little day dreamers escape to lighten your day. Designed by React Architects from Athens, this holiday home is a modern day reinterpretation of Cycladic architecture with its cubic, minimalist exterior sitting stoically amongst the olive trees dotting the hillside landscape and overlooking the ocean. Inside a mix of mid-century pieces and flea market finds from Paris to Athens create an eclectic yet softly restrained style to the home.
With an attached guest house offering a separate bedroom and bathroom, the main building houses the kitchen, dining and living room as well as two seperate bedrooms with their own ensuite. Just five minutes up the road from Farmgas Bay and the local fishing village of Aliki, you’ll find the best bakery and butcher on the island and the quintessential beachside tavern for your afternoon Aperol.
