We thought we would bring you our little Milan Mashup 2014 in case you may have missed photographer Robyn Lea’s Edit in issue #14 of Est Magazine. Having spent her early 20’s studying the fine art of living like an Italian while learning the even finer skills of photography, Robyn Lea has come to know and love Milan as both her very own creative incubator – and her adopted home town.
Take a tour of Photographer Robyn Lea’s Milan during the Salone del Mobile 2014 in Issue #14 of Est Magazine….or live vicariously through Robyn’s experiences from her time in Milan in her very own Milan Book.
Here is a teaser of just a few of our favourite things to come out of Milan this year…
We have had a tracking device on the Neuland designed Sharky Chair for Kristalia since receiving announcement of its release to the public at this years fair. We were happy to track it all the way back across the Pacific to Fanuli in Sydney last month.
Given our junky like addiction to a well crafted chair, we were also like moths to the flame as soon as we clapped eyes on ‘the other’ Kristalia chair, the Ramos by Italian designer Ramos Bassols. Perfect for the family dining table or at an office desk don’t you think?
Dimore Studio. Apartment Perfection. The End.
In spite of our afore mentioned addiction – we have been able to round it down to a list of just three chairs that had us at hello. We could have gone on but in fear of being finally committed we end here with the Nendo designed Peg Chair for Capellini. Inspired by the ‘city cars’ that duck and dive through the tight streets of Milan, the Peg chair would make the perfect Milanese souvenir don’t you think?
