Food stylist Mish Lilley had the perfect foundations to encourage a love for good food, having grown up on her family’s farm in Victoria’s Gippsland. Citing her mother as her inspiration for patiently nurturing her cooking skills, while growing up in idyllic surrounds complete with chickens roaming the garden, cows in the fields and a plethora of home grown vegetables.
After a stint working in advertising, catering and as a cook, Mish had the foresight to start her own blog Mish Delish in 2006 while at the same time starting a family. Like all good blogs, as the momentum grows so does the confidence, for Mish this new found confidence meant taking the leap to pursue her passion for styling, photography and recipe writing.
With a keen interest in interiors, Mish’s home is the perfect reflection of her style. This two-storey Victorian terrace in inner Melbourne reflects Mish’s preference for a ‘blend of old and new’, with modern design living side by side with the ornate period features of the home. Clean and crisp with vibrant colours for punch. Much like her cooking we think.
Just stunning – gorgeous house and fabulous photography – very inspiring.
nice
Stunning house! Love the graphic style of the house! xx
I love the light and space of this house which allows the bold colours to make a statement rather than look gawdy.
