Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen, the Belgian furniture design duo behind Muller Van Severen, celebrate ten years of playful experimentation and quality craftsmanship with their second printed publication.
Known for their colourful, sculptural furniture and objects, Fien and Hannes have carved their niche for innovative and minimalistic modern furniture. Collaborating with brands from Hermès to Airbnb and prestigious museums, including Vitra Museum and Musée d’Art Decorative Paris, they are well regarded as one of the most image-defining European design teams in the present day.
Following the launch of their debut book in 2014, Muller Van Severen’s latest edition reflects on their colourful body of work. The design duo reveals insight into their unique artistry through conversations with curators Jan Boelen and Beatrice Galilee and architects Arno Brandhublr and Sam Chermayeff. The book uncovers Muller Van Severen’s conceptual design approach, material exploration, rich colour palette and distinctive form and function.
