Organised by four thematic chapters, the book profiles remarkable projects from works for renowned lighting brand Bocci – of which he is co-founder and creative director, to furniture and private homes. The book also comprises Illustrations, drawings, product photography, essays by guest contributors and excerpts of historical texts from writers and thinkers including Sigmund Freud.
Israeli born Omer was raised in Vancouver and trained as an architect, interning in Barcelona and Vancouver. While he moves between disciplines, his architectural training informs and characterises his works not only through materiality but in the way they inhabit the spaces around them. Focal themes of his work include the intrinsic mechanical, physical, and chemical qualities of materials and the exploration of light as a medium.
Highly awarded, his pieces have been exhibited at the V&A museum and Spatzio Rosanna Orlandi amongst others.
