Aside from the contemporary appeal and aesthetic of a black sink, black sinks are easier to clean and preserve their appearance for longer than their white ceramic counterparts. Made in Bavaria, the SOHO Large Single Bowl (Magma) by German granite sink pioneers Schock is constructed from their unique CRISTADUR® material structure. CRISTADUR® is a smooth-to-touch granite with a dirt-repellent gloss surface and antibacterial properties, ideal for a kitchen or laundry.
Designed and manufactured in Italy, the Gessi Goccia Counter Black washbasin is inspired by water’s fluid and natural movements. The washbasin creates a sculptural focal point in the bathroom in a glossy black porcelain finish.
The Schock Typos Single Bowl with drainer (Onyx) is crafted from CRISTALITE®; a slightly-rougher granite compared to CRISTADUR®. Both materials are completely non-porous, allowing food stains to easily be washed away. The matt black top-mount sink has an inbuilt drainboard and is installed under-mount as a seamless extension of the kitchen benchtop.
The Gareth Ashton range by Abey was designed for modern Australian living. The Square 304 stainless steel basin (Black Pearl) injects an industrial sensibility into the bathroom through its pearlescent black finish stainless steel construction with matching plug and rounded corners.
The Gareth Ashton Round 304 stainless steel basin (Black Pearl) features the same metallic finish as its square equivalent, perfect for a moody powder room or statement primary ensuite.
The Abey BS1 bar sink (Black Pearl) is a single bowl under-mount sink; a reliable and functional addition to a home bar or butler’s pantry.
The Chambord Philippe II single bowl is an unconventional take on the French farmhouse kitchen sink, which the brand attests is “a concept of new French Art Deco.” Made from fireclay – a blend of clay and glaze – the Philippe II single bowl in black is scratch, stain, crack, chip and heat resistant.
The Schock Euro round bowl (Onyx), part of the CRISTALITE® range is a small scale circular black sink, perfect for a home bar, or a secondary kitchen.
The Schock SOHO One & One-Third Magma is a deep under-mount sink designed with functionality in mind, separating utensils from dinnerware.
