Danish dining chairs epitomise the nation’s 20th-century design success story. Combining form and function, backed by exceptional craftsmanship and ergonomics, some of Denmark’s most iconic dining chairs were originally produced nearly 80 years ago. These iconic chairs remain just as timeless today courtesy of design luminaries Hans J Wegner and Verner Panton.

The Black/Natural Knot Chair, designed by Tatsuo Kuroda for Normann Copenhagen is characterised by the dominant jointing points in natural paper cord, which also provide optimal sitting comfort.
The Series 430 Chair for Verpan offers a streamlined, classic shape that designer Verner Panton was renowned for throughout his career.

Nanna Ditzel’s Trinidad Chair for Fredericia dissolves in a play of light and shadow. The stackable chair is available in grey, light grey and smoked stained lacquer.
Designed in 1947 by Børge Morgensen and nicknamed ‘The People’s Chair’ for its incredible versatility, the J39 Chair for Fredericia features curved backrest and hand-woven paper cord seat.

The Spanish Dining Chair, designed by Børge Mogensen for Fredericia is crafted from the finest selection of oak and flawless saddle leather, available with or without armrests.
The About a Chair exudes functional simplicity that is characteristic of the ‘About a’ range. Designed by Hee Welling for HAY, the chair comprises of a curved back and a 4-legged wooden base.
