The light linen Gauze Throw from Bedouin Societe is hand-loomed in India by textile artisans, following a slow process to craft its unique texture. The gauzy linen creates a raw, dappled effect with a tufted fringe.
The Bedouin Societe Perla Blanket is crafted from hand-loomed pure wool and mohair, with finger fringes. Mohair, the fleece of Angora goats, brings a lightness to the throw, and while it’s insulating, it doesn’t absorb heat – making it an ideal blanket in summer.
Crafted by Zegna Baruffa for Bemboka, the Jersey Italian Cashmere Throw is a soft, Italian-made blanket made from premium Cashmere yarn. It features a double-twisted weave, allowing it to appear thick while remaining light.
Made with a unique yarn blend in New Zealand, the Wide Rib Angora & Merino Wool Blanket from Bemboka combines the best of rare quality Angora with Australian Merino wool for a soft and silky texture. Better yet, the blanket is resistant to piling and machine washable.
The Society Limonta Bou Throw from Ondene is made from soft alpaca and wool, with the aim of bringing a fashion lens to ‘home courture’. Alpaca fleece is silky, and hypoallergenic and warmer than sheep’s wool. The two fibres have been combined to create a tactile melange effect, with frayed hems and a natural threaded pattern.
A collaboration with eminent UK designer John Pawson, the Tekla Merino Blanket is part of a collection of blankets made from superfine Merino wool, featuring white and beige patterns inspired by the designer’s home in the Oxfordshire countryside.
