Divided over two levels, within a classic art deco building in Potts Point, One Hot Yoga & Pilates Sydney is an exercise in balance.
Rob (of Robert Mills Architects) and his yoga devotee wife, Lucinda, have re-imagined this wellness emporium as space for movement and mindfulness. The One experience is based on the meeting of architecture and the function each space serves – what is both inside and outside of our bodies directly influences our physical and psychological wellbeing.
Offsetting hints of the buildings rich past – evident in the pitched roof, steel frame windows and solid proportions – the distinctly contemporary palette of warm timber and crisp white light is accented by metallic brass details. All spaces are orientated to maximise light. Full height mirrors create a sense of space, whilst curated unique design objects and artworks pop out of the meditative, calm interior.
Featuring state-of-the-art heating technology, natural materials, finely controlled lighting and tone-on-tone colour schemes, this gracious and calm environment has an ambience of understated luxury. Where better to look after oneself?

The change rooms – with clean lights, clean lines and neutral colours – compliment the art deco historic building.
