The very private, yet uber stylish owner of this beautiful home for sale in Quakers Hat Bay on Sydney’s North Shore, first came onto my radar at a dinner party with mutual friends in downtown Gunnedah, New South Wales – way back when. After blowing into town for just the night on her way to a new life in Sydney, our paths would cross again years later after I packed up the family Volvo, filled it with noisy little boys and a burly husband and headed off on my own new adventure and a life in the harbour side city.
Knowing the impeccable style of this old acquaintance I thought her beautiful home too might appeal to those of you looking for a little real estate porn this week. With a newly finished renovation by one of our favourite Sydney based architects, Iain Halliday of Burley Katon Halliday, and a garden designed by Peter Fudge, we defy you not to want to pack your own bags and head to a new life in the emerald city too – we promise you’ll love it!
