The Ariake Summit Lounge Chair is inspired by the classic Scandinavian cabinetmaker chairs, the construction is light and transparent, clearly showing of all elements of it. The cigar shaped profiles tells the story of where the chairs need to be strong and robust, therefore creating a natural flow throughout the chair. With a rather small footprint, wide armrests and high backrest, this chair is meant for both relaxing and engaged conversations. The name “Summit” refers to this meeting and discussion between people, where we imagine our chairs would play host to.
