The 5340-1 Safavi Rug is part of the Behruz Sari Silk Collection. The Sari Silk Collection is hand woven in India using recycled sari silk textiles. These textiles are unraveled and spun into fine threads before being hand knotted into rugs. Each piece ends being up a unique piece of art due to the jewel like colours of the sari textiles. There is an unpredictability to the finishing of these rugs which is truly what makes them special.
