Carl Hansen & Son CH88P ChairEmail enquiry about Carl Hansen & Son CH88P Chair
The Carl Hansen & Son CH88P Chair is an example of Hans J. Wegner’s exploration of materials. The elegant combination of upholstery, wood and steel shows Wegner’s ability to make minimalist forms appear soft and comfortable. Wegner originally developed the CH88P as a prototype with coloured legs for the international Helsingborg Exhibition of 1955 in Sweden. In 2014, the chair went into production for the first time. The CH88P dining chair’s clever construction and stackable quality make it highly functional. The steel frame combined with the wooden backrest and seat provide an elegant design and comfortable form.
