The Fferrone Design Revolution Rocks / Martini Glasses are one of the most celebrated glasses of Felicia Ferrone’s Revolution Collection. Its innovative dual-sided design accentuates the form of water, wine and spirits, making them appear to float at the table.

Revolution Collection, the original fferrone glassware collection designed by Felicia Ferrone in 2001, was introduced into the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009 and stands out today as fferrone’s most iconic glassware design. The idea for its dual-sided functionality was the result of an evening dining with close friends as seen through Ferrone’s trained architect’s lens. The moniker of the collection is fitting; the glassware reinvents the landscape of the table with its minimalist architectural forms. Wine, water, cocktails and soup all appear to defy gravity with the floating effect of the hollow opposite side. The minimal design easily adapts from everyday occasions to exceptional ones.

Each piece is handcrafted without the use of molds by master glassblowers. The borosilicate glass allows for a range of hot and cold applications. As is the case for all fferrone glassware collections, the Revolution Collection is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe for everyday use.
