The Great Dane Modern Art Table Light is a timeless classic and a pearl of Finnish lamp design. The design of the lamp is highly simplified in the spirit of the 1950s: the cylinder-shaped clear acrylic frame is combined with a transparent thin white shade that filters light evenly. It gained its reputation when it was chosen for the collection of the New York Museum of Modern Art in 1957.
