Kirchheimer Muschelkalk Diamond Sandblasted stone was formed in a sea basin inhabitated by animals and plants. The shells, housings and plant remains consisting of lime were partially shattered, built lime mud and became fossilised. From surrounding shore regions, iron hydroxides were washed in and sedimented in the lime mud.
