The foundation of Okibo Coffee Table comes from fallen oak, as a second life offered to the forests of Fontainebleau, Burgundy, Sologne and Perche… the green lungs that architect and designer Jean-Guillaume Mathiaut travels every day. With his eye on the lookout, he surveys them to spot the slightest fossilized tree trunk, the sacrificed piece of bark or the abandoned branch that he then transforms into a “landscape furniture”.
