The On Entropy Ray Pendant Light highlights lightness in marble, both physically but also in the sense-experience of the user. The intention when this light was originally conceived was to transform marble from a rigid and heavy volume to a lightweight & glowing piece that almost floats within space. Adding in 2020 the “silver lining” detail, with reference to the Japanese Kintsugi and ancient quarrying techniques, was not just an approach to heritage, but an optimistic mark during times of change.
