Originally created by Vico Magistretti in 1989, the Acerbis Florian is one of the new 2021 designs remastered from the Acerbis archives. Ingeniously functional, the Florian represents Magistrettìs supreme simplicity, with a lightweight, multi-level table built on a foldable structure inspired by a broom handle, which collapses flat to hang on the wall as a graphic object of circles and lines. In Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces’s version, the Florian’s size adapts to modern living, its ash wood frame folds smoothly and quickly with a modern brass mechanism, and its graphic impact is bolstered with lacquered tones of mustard, green spruce and brick — a democratic passe-partout for the contemporary home.
