Thanks to a creative concept by Philippe Starck, Kartell identifies the “generics” of community seating, hence the creation of the Kartell Generic A Armchair. The chair is designed for office environments and available in different matt and soft touch finishes: it is defined by a high seatback, wide armrests and a functional design. Generic is an ambitious project of deeply ethical connotations, in which new objectives are defined for contemporary design to fulfil and creativity is seen in the light of a public service.
