Designed between 1995 and 1996, the Kartell Maui Soft Swivel Chair was the focus of design research in the nineties and is the first of a new generation of chairs made of a material without veins or ribs, metal supports, or any reinforcing frame to support the back. In 2012 Kartell gave it new appeal in style and price affordability and offered a fabric version, expanding the family rich in colour and functional variations.
