Jon Goulder Innate Bedside Table is a new addition to the distinctive collection of Australian-made furniture by lauded Adelaide-based designer, Jon Goulder. Characterised by a minimalist aesthetic, it embodies a sense of quiet refinement in its form and the choice of materials used, and is, not least, imbued with an innate Australian sensibility.
The design aesthetic of the entire collection is informed by the shared ethos of both the designer and his producer, Fiona Lyda of renowned retailer Spence & Lyda, to allow the materials to speak, ideally in their natural and/or simplest states. The resulting pieces possess an inherent design integrity and language that is underpinned by honest construction.
This linear, compact bedside table is available in left or right versions and rendered in solid timber – including Tasmanian Oak or Blackwood – paired with a base in black steel, referred to as ‘Night’ or patinated brass, called ‘Day’.
