Designed by Terje Ekstrom in the 1980s, the Varier Ekstrem Chair’s playful and iconic design has been re-released for future generations. Representing one of Norway’s first postmodern designs, this unique and sculptural piece provides a surprising level of cradled comfort given its unexpected geometrics. Consisting of a tubular steel frame wrapped in soft polyurethane foam, the Ekstrem Chair is available in either Norwegian Devold Knit or Danish Gentle Velvet.
