Guillaume Alan was born and raised in the world of architecture and interior design so naturally, he decided to launch his own studio at 22, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris in 2002. Since, he has opened another design studio in London lead by his design partner, Emilie Le Corre. Among Guillaume’s earliest design memories are the ordered magnificence of the Louvre’s square courtyard and the tranquil simplicity of Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion in Spain. That love of classical purity shines through his work, be it architecture, interior design and furniture design. Passionate about craftsmanship and detail, every element and texture is celebrated. His schemes are tactile and luxurious. Guillaume Alan and his team ensure consistency by focusing on the finest tradition of French design, aiming to create architecture and interiors with a feeling of wellbeing and achieving emotional and calming spaces.
