What was once a manufacturing workshop located in a small Parisian alley has since been reconfigured and converted by Septembre design studio into a modern day family home that any design discerning reader with a passion for minimalism would only too happily move into. Tomorrow.
Pale timber floors warm up the monochromatic colour scheme of black and white, while an entire wall of windows and internal glass doors ensure cascading light flows throughout the once poky apartment.
The back wall of the open plan living room and kitchen has been painted entirely in black – effectively accentuating the simplest of details in the black steel cased window. In this minimalistic and modern home, colourful book spines add just the right amount of colour and movement to an otherwise almost monastic looking space.
