Good friends, Jacqueline ‘Jac’ Hunt and Lisa ‘Jack’ Dempsey launched Jac+ Jack in 2004 and quickly built a fashion brand synonymous with the cool, laid back life style of Sydney – with a mix of beachy lifestyle and city sophistication.
With a vision of creating beautiful knitwear and luxurious, modern jersey pieces, Jac+ Jack has evolved to now include collections of womenswear, menswear, eyewear, accessories and home apparel.
Bill Grainger of Bills restaurant fame commissioned the girls to design uniforms for his restaurants in Japan’s Yokohama, Odaiba and Omotesando. Clearly the Sydney vibe translates to a cool, unrestrained, laid back style the world over.
Elegant simple steel clothing rails, white washed walls, long swathes of linen in the dressing room and tonnes of sunlight are what make this shopping experience an easy, chilled out kind of encounter. Timber chairs and furnishings from Charlie Hinckfuss at MCM House add to the feeling of being welcomed into the home of both Jac AND Jack!
A very well kept home they keep…if only our wardrobes could look like that!
