Tania Handelsmann has been designing residential and commercial spaces for the past 15 years and this home on Sydney’s north shore is the perfect representation of Tania’s sophisticated style, using luxurious finishes to create refined, comfortable spaces.

Having literally just had her second child one week ago – we chatted to the hardworking and diligent designer about her upcoming projects while she was propped up in her hospital bed. Clearly passionate about her job, Tania is not only supremely talented and efficient but incredibly adept at multi tasking.

Having graduated with honours from the UNSW architecture program, Tania took on the rather hefty reins as Vice-President of the New York Office of architectural design firm Burley Katon Halliday, which she established and ran before returning home to ‘set up shop’ on her own.

The use of a grey and white palette in this Sydney home is refined and elegant while the mix of pale timbers, Bertoia chairs, subway style tiling and metal lighting fixtures create a contemporary space that is timeless and sophisticated. A winning combination every time.

We can’t wait to share her new work with you soon. We are just a little in awe of this dynamo!
