It was Victoria Beckham’s relaxed, laid back style backstage that really caught our eye at the recent launch of designers Fall/Winter 2016 fashion collection held at the Cipriani hall in downtown New York this Valentines Day. Well that and the family cheering her on in the front row too if we are to be really honest.
Taking in the tweed skirts, toned midriffs (the models not ours clearly) and the the strapless bustiers, Eliza Fairbairn, our very own fashion aficionado here at Est HQ made the observation that Beckham’s latest show could really best be described as an evolution of the designers own personal style with the relaxed shapes and loose silhouettes. Already a fan of the white trainer look – with everything – it was VB’s cream turtleneck with elongated elbow patches and hair tied back in a pony that really stole the show for us.
