We can’t believe we’ve only just discovered Yvonne Koné. A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts – Yvonne is making waves in the northern European accessories scene with her shoes, bags, belts and curiosities of mittens, bum bags and off beat jewellery. Yvonne’s designs are classic, sleek and refined with a mega dash of Scandi cool.
Yvonne’s approach to blogging is equally enchanting. Her online “playground” is a beautifully photographed glimpse into the life of a designer. Together with friend and photographer, Line Klein, Yvonne documents not only production trips to Florence but behind the scenes on photo shoots and life in Copenhagen. From watching the seasons change to her favourite cafes and shops and visiting friends.
We are particularly taken with this series of images shot in the home of jewellery designer Jo Riis-Hansen and her renowned fashion photographer partner Hasse Nielsen. When shoes are part of the decor a home is nothing short of brilliant!
