The highly coveted Zip Hydrotap has long been a favourite of ours when it comes to the list of kitchen essentials for a newly built or redesigned kitchen. After spending the evening last week with the Zip Water team in the Sub-Zero and Wolf showroom in Melbourne, we came away with our minds reeling of stunning colour combinations and a thought provoking reminder of the endless health benefits of having clean filtered water on tap, literally, for the whole family to enjoy.
Available in 8 new colours, the stylish new Platinum Design Range is not only beautiful to look at, it also espouses health benefits too by providing crystal clear, filtered tap water that is free of taste and devoid of smell – while still retaining its fluoride. Our poor northern cousins know all too well just how bad tap water can both taste and smell, so to have clean, fresh, great tasting water available at a flick of a lever means the whole family is set to benefit from the life-giving sustenance that tap water can bring.
Without a doubt though one of the benefits we love most about having a Zip tap in the kitchen is the option of drinking either boiling, chilled or sparkling water to our hearts content. The only issue we really have with the new Platinum range involves making a decision on which colour to choose.
With the metallic tap range available in either rose gold, brushed rose gold, gold, brushed gold, platinum, gunmetal, brushed nickel or nickel, the Zip tap has been designed to suit all contemporary kitchen styles.
At last weeks reveal of the new tapware range we sat at a cleverly styled table with the Platinum Hydrotap acting as a personal centrepiece for guests dotted along the central, rectangular table – giving us the opportunity to see first hand just how beautifully slick and refined these new kitchen ‘must have’ taps really are.
